Therapy
Therapy is the process of working with a skilled clinician to help you reach your goals through a confidential, supportive, and compassionate relationship. As a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience, I will work with you to understand and overcome the obstacles that have stood in the way of achieving happiness and overall wellness. Mindful Wellness, VI engages in counseling with adults, children and adolescents, couples, and groups. Sessions are typically weekly or biweekly and are available in person or via teletherapy.
Mindfulness / Meditation Training
The physical and mental health benefits of mindfulness are now well documented as the key to stress reduction and overall happiness. Learning to bring our attention to the here and now has proven to help relieve stress, treat heart disease, lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain, improve sleep, alleviate gastrointestinal difficulties, as well assist in the treatment of depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, and relationship conflicts.
Nutritional Coaching
As your health coach, I will help facilitate behavior change by empowering you to discover core values and individualized strategies. Together we will work towards your nutrition goal, whether that is fat loss, weight gain, performance, longevity, or improved overall health. Because it takes time to create lasting and meaningful changes via food, nutrition sessions are only available as a 3-month package.
Personal Training
Movement is fundamental to long-term health and wellness. Together we will develop goals for your personal fitness, and train in a style that supports your success. Each session will be tailored to meet your needs and work around your limitations.
